The hobbits must be the successful in fighting a
dragon because this book is talking about the hobbits. Although the hobbit is
very weak right now but he must be much powerful in the future. He is the most
important role in this book. The title of this book is ‘the hobbits’!So can he
be less successful than the dwarves when they fight a dragon? That is
  impossible. But Mr. Manno asked this question so I have to thinking about my
  idea expect this truth.


Well if I have to choose one I prefer to choose a
dwarf. In my opinion, they are good at fighting. From the book we can know they
are much stronger than a lazy hobbit. All of them are powerful than he. And they
have a goal. Their ‘treasures’ are snatched by the dragon. But the hobbit does
not lose anything from the dragon. He does not like the dragon but it does not
like the dwarves. Dwarves really hate the dragon! This will make a dwarf more
powerful. And also they had met the dragon before so they will have more
experience than a hobbit. That is why I think a dwarf would be more successful
in fighting a dragon.

Both of the dwarves and the hobbits are shorter
than human and elves. But the hobbits are much shorter. They have big feet as
well but they are cuter than dwarves. They do not have terrible beard. The
  dwarves are very strong because of their interests. Mr. Manno had told us that
  the dwarves come from the earth. That why they live in the mountain and also
they love money, how can they get money? From the adventures. They love
adventure and really enjoy it. They think is exciting. However the hobbits do
not think so. This is the biggest difference between the hobbits and dwarves.
The hobbits love the peaceful lives and do not want any adventures. Their hobby
may sit on a soft and comfortable chair in the afternoon and looking at the
smoke-ring. But how can a dwarf enjoy this kind of life? It is too boring to
them thought it is very safe and they do not need to wrong about anything. And
also the dwarves can write special words but the hobbits can’t. Hobbits may have
no special ability at all.


I think a dwarf is stronger than a hobbit because
dwarves do the do the heavy job everyday but the hobbits not. But both of them
enjoy their lives.

I found that the people in the America use this
book for education as well. The words in this book are not easy so when we read
this book it is hard. We need dictionary all the time in order to understand
  this book better. But I do not like dictionary because the book is very thick
  and heavy and I always forget to bring electronic dictionary. So I am depending
  on the vocabulary finder very much. But sometime we can imagine the meaning of
  the words. This book is talking about a story so it is easy to think of a
  picture is about the detail, and this make us can imagine the difficult words.
Then you can look up the words in the dictionary. The meaning that you guess
can’t be always true but it is a good way. And also it is more interesting. I
have tried to read ‘the hobbit’ in the school bus but it is very difficult
because I can’t be very attentive. So I think another suggestion that can help
oneself to succeed at understanding ‘the hobbit’ is that we must be in a quiet
place and we should serious when we are reading.


Finally, the most important thing is that do not
read Chinese ‘the hobbit’!

Almost all the hobbits do not like adventure so
the Took’s family is a special one. They love having adventure! But this makes
the neighborhood not as respect as the Baggin’s family. Because the Baggin’s
family enjoys their peaceful life so mush. They do not like adventure at all. I
think they can’t understand why the Took’s family likes this kind of dangerous
  things. They may think they are crazy by the way. Two completely different
  types of families have intersection because of Bilbo’s mum and dad. His mum
  love adventure but his dad does not. And after they were married mum does not
  like adventures any more. So this makes him enjoy the lives like his dad before
  he met Gandalf. I prefer the Took family. The reason of that is the lives of
  the Baggin’s family are boring. Everyday lives are almost the same. Who can
  continue this kind of living life? So when Bilbo meets Gandalf and dwarves he
  chose his mum’s ‘blood’. So maybe he prefers his mum’s family and think this is
  exciting as well.


The hobbits enjoy the quiet and peaceful lives so
when the Took’s family members young other hobbits do not like them. They may
  think they were strange. Bilbo’s mum change herself so may be the Took’s family
  is not as brave as we think. They are just braver and more special than other
  hobbits a little bit. We though they are great differences between these two
  families but maybe not.

First I need to say I am too
tall for living in a hobbit whole. I think there are even no chairs that I can
sit. How awful it is! The rood is too low for me. I will have to bend my body in
a whole day if I do not want to hit the roof. This will make me crazy. And also
according to the book we know that the hobbits do not wear shoes, they walk up
and down without wearing shoes. So is it means the floor of the hobbit hole is
always dirty? Let’s think about the environment around the hobbit hole, trees
grass flowers and soil. I am not a girl who really
loves clean but I can’t stand he room that full of mud! If I live in the hobbit
hole all of my neighborhoods will be hobbits, right? And the hobbits enjoy the
leisurely life. I can’t imagine that every day I wake up and have nothing to do
then go to the lawn and look at the sky whole day except for eating. I REALLY
  HATE THIS KIND OF LIFE! (And also I don’t think there are
network)


For these reasons how can I enjoy living in a
hobbit hole?

It is really hard to answer this question,
  because how can I know Mr. Manno’s opinion? And in fact I am not good at
  talking about myself so I don’t like autobiography.


It was my first time to write such a long
  article. In fact, the beginning I feel scared about that I should write so many
  words, and also I think it was not an easy thing to talk about myself. Life is
  not full of excitement. Fortunately I complete it at last. Um… I am a little
  bit lazy so this makes me finished it the day before we have to hand in. so it
  was not perfect. And also the picture is not good enough. I really hated take
photo when I was in the middle school so I couldn’t find my picture! But my
autobiography did not very poor, although I write it in a short time I have
tried my best as well.

I really hate onion! When I am a little girl my
mum always tells me ‘onion is good for your health’ ‘onion is a little sweet’
Are you kidding me? Though I know there are true.


That time annual Christmas Eve. If I want to get
my presents I have to eat some onion. I feel really bad but I want my presents.
I thought my parent felt funny when I tried to eat the onion. I would tell me
‘girl you don’t have to eat the onion but the presents will be disappeared’and
then they laughed.

Um… it is one of the strangest questions I have
  seen so far. Mr. Manno do you think it is funny? I am very curious about the
reason of why you asked this question.


Well I don’t like taking taxi so I haven’t got
this problem yet.so lucky. But if I in a taxi and the driver do this what will I
do? Hm... I think nearly all of them will open the window by themselves. If they
don’t, it is a little bit impolite. But if I do it by myself it is also be rude.
I will try to hold my breath. It is difficult to keep going. But it is the best
way to not make you rude. So I will say ‘it is a hot day why not we open the
window to make air circulation?’ something like that. I believe that the taxi
driver can understand.


Anyway actually the taxi driver is a human so he
or she can also feel the bad smell, too. So I think it is not a problem. 

I am so excited.《The Hobbit》is the prequel of the 《The Lord of the Rings》 and I have seen 《The Lord of the Rings》in New Zealand before. It is really an
interesting story with the human, Elves and Dwarves.
Actually there are three parts of it. Frodo is a hobbit who is living with his
friends. One day he got a ring which was made by the Dark Lord Sauron. It is a ring with lots of power. But Frodo
didn’t know until he met Gandalf who told him the ring is really dangerous. He
let him to break it as soon as possible. So Frodo went to Mordor with "
Fellowship of the Ring " which will help him. The trip is so difficult that make
Gandalf die but they did it at last. It’s one of my favorite movies!
《The Hobbit》is about the uncle of
Frodo’s story. It must be very exciting as well. Mr. Manno told us that the
movie is not interesting but the book is his favorite one, so I am looking
forward to read this book.
