Because we don’t have Music Class or P.E. lesson
yet and every day we have the same classes so it is hard to say my favorite
class. But maybe my favorite class is Math so far! In fact I am poor at Math
when I am in Grade 8 and Grade 9 and I hated Math last year. I didn’t know why
we should study it. (Silly opinion) Last year my friends always tell me that the
Math in the U.S. high school is easy and we have learned it already. I think so,
too. Because I have been to New Zealand and the Math over there is simper. But
our idea is not true. The Math is a little bit difficult. We haven’t studied it,
such as slope. And Mr. Andy always asks us some calculation process that my
Chinese teacher didn’t tell us. My Chinese teacher told us that we only need to
know the result. But why I still like this class? I think one of the most
important reasons is Mr. Andy. Although when we asked him why we can’t use
  negative number in a calculation he told us because he doesn’t like it, he
  makes the class interesting and always full of laugh. I used to be hate Math
  but now I enjoy it again.

If I have enough time to learn a new language
I think I will learn Japanese. I have said that I enjoy reading comic and
  watching animation. Almost all of the countries create comic or animation, but
I prefer the Japanese. Why? Let me give you an example. When we think about the
  comic of America we usually think of the 《Superman》 or someone is really strong. When we think
about the comic of china we always think of the《Pleasant Goat and Big Big
Wolf》 or some animals. But if I think about the
comic and animation of Japan I always think of some cute person! That why I like
Japanese comic and animation. Well because of I can’t understand the meaning of
Japanese so I must wait for someone makes the subtitles. It isn’t convenient.
And also lots of games are Japanese as well! They are made in Japan. I always
find an interesting game but I can’t play it because I don’t know what does it
talking about. How terrible it is! My friends say ‘you can use the dictionary’
but I think it doesn’t work. There are millions of words in a game.



So if I have enough time I will learn Japanese,
  through it must be difficult.

What can we learn from a biography? In my
  opinion, the story about a famous person’s life is a good way to be successful.
  This is why we read the biography of Steve Jobs. There are many different kinds
  of book in the word. Some of them can make people relax, but some of them can
  also make people study. There are both very helpful but I think the history
  book is one of them. The history book is a little bit similar to the biography,
  but I think we can learn more useful things in a history book and also it is
  more interesting. Why? Because the biography is detailed introduce one person’s
  life, but the history book is always talked about the most special things of a
  person. It makes easier to understand a person.


And there is another important reason. Actually,
  there are many famous people in the history don’t have autobiography or
biography, so the history book is the most important way to know about them,
maybe it is the only way.


But there are some bad things about the history
book as well. For example you can’t make sure all of the things in the book are
truth, because the people who write this book would put his own feeling in it.
But this why I think the history book is more
interesting.

If I were student council president there was
  something i would like to do. First I would like to have a party or some
actives that all the U.S high school students will be join in also the students
in the middle school and language center. Because almost all of us can’t
remember the names of the students in Grade 10 and 9A. I think the main reason
is that we do not have enough time to talk with each other. We have short break
time, don’t we? So if we can have a party or some actives that would be great.
It is good for our friendship.


Second I would like to have some exercise during
the homeroom. Because 9B don’t have PE lesson, but having exercise is necessary.
  The most important thing is to keep health. Actually I don’t like doing sports
  at all. I am lazy and I have a bad daily habits. I prefer stay inside than
  outside. I consider not just me have this kind of bad habit. As a result we may
  do exercise. Do it with friends would be easier than it by yourselves. It will
  also make our school better.

If I had to create my own
school club, I think maybe I will create a club about comics! I enjoy reading
comics very much but I am not good at drawing. I know that some students who are
in the US high school are really good at drawing the comic characters. So
if I create a club the first thing I would like to do is invite them
to join with us. They can teach us how to draw the characters. And we can
prepare some good and interesting comics. We don’t have to create a perfect
comic so it will be fun, right? But is there anything else we can learn? I think
create comic is also a good way for students to imagine their own stories and
make their own style of drawing.


This club is created for the purpose of improving
every member’s ability and to share what they have learned in school. We can
draw our lives in the comics. If i am the leader i want everyone can draw anything even you are not good
at drawing or imagining stories like me. Comic can be ‘silly’ ‘strange’that make
others laugh or get lots of feelig. It doesn't matter.

In my opinion, field trip is important. We
can learn many things that we can’t learn them in the school. And also we can
get a lot of fun. Today we went the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. I
have been there many times with my parents when I am small. But it was the first
  time that we have to do a project. It’s not an easy one. Ann Bella and I went
  to all the places that we should go to. But my favorite one is the ‘Light of
  Wisdom’. There were many interesting things in it like a slant room. (I forgot
  its name)

If I am Mr. Manno I will do the same way in
  teaching English class. However, I will also create my own style of teaching in
  making the class active and lively, because Mr. Manno has a good way of making
  students interested in his subject.

Here are the steps that I will be doing if I'm in his situation. First, I will follow his way of giving the class vocabulary words every week. Then I want to make them create their own story using those new words or use them in sentences.


 And also I want to try to give them enlightenment to express their ideas through
writing for them to apply grammar rules. Following this steps are the process
for me on how to teach English
class.

Today I had no plan so I saw a movie
on the internet. The movie’s name is ‘Alice's Adventures in Wonderland’.I had seen it before. It is one
of my favorite movies. I like Alice very much.


This is a story about Alice who is nearly 20 years old. Her mum
  wants her to marry with a arrogant people. So when she saw a rabbit she ran
  away and then fall in a hole. And now she was in a wonderland. People want her
  to defeat Red Queen. At first she refused it. I think it is because she was
  really afraid she didn’t want to do that. But at last she agreed to kill the
  dragon and make the citizens be free.


When she woke up and climbed out hole she know what she really want
to do—a businesswoman.

This week student council told us that every
month we will have a no uniform day. So yesterday it was. It means we can wear
our own cloth at school. It was exciting because we wear school uniform
everyday. But there was a rule about it: No Chinese. You should speak English
all the time. It is very difficult because Chinese is our mother tongue. We
speak it everyday like we speak Chinese with our friends in the break time. But
speaking English is necessary so it is a good way to improve it.

Today we saw a movie named ‘The King’s Speech’. It was a story about a king- King
George VI. He was the prince of England and would become a king. But he had a
  pronounced stutter. How terrible it is! And the time was before the Second
  World War. He should have a speech for his citizens. He should encourage
  soldiers to keep up high morale. It was his responsibility. Then his wife found
  a doctor Lionel Logue who became the best friend of the king and called the
  king ‘Bertie’. He helped the king. And finally the king had a perfect speech
  before the war. In my opinion, the doctor is the most important people in this
  movie. He taught the king how to speak. And these ideas can give us
  enlightenment as well. They are useful. So it is one of the most interesting
movies I have seen so far.
