Finally they reach the lonely mountain. It is their goals. Along
the way after their death, but now it is the biggest danger in the whole
adventure. They may die or they win the Smaug and get back their treasure. They
are afraid and a little bit excited. All the things over there let them recall
the terrible dragon with ferocity. Fear make they get grumpy. They complain
about Bilbo, Gandalf and anything. All of these embody their fear. They are
trying to find the right door can't open it. Their treasure is really near them
but they can not see or touch it. it is a kind of torment to them. A flying moth
darts into the fire. They are afraid but have no way to resist the
temptation.
A part of their mood is look forward to fight with the dragon, but
another part of their mood is shouting:” no! I do not want do this! It is too
dangerous! Why can not the burglar be more useful! why can not Gandalf help us?
I am just a dwarf how can I win that dragon!” They are very tangled in this chapter.
