Strongest theme in The Hobbit

There is an important theme in the book—home. Every day
you leave your home njo matter how long will always come back home. That is for us the
warmest place in this world, no other place can compare with it. Why dwarves want to fight with
dragon? The main reason is because Smaug robs their home. They have been living
there for generations, I think they like the place not only because of their treasure, isn’t? Misty
Mountain is where they lived, they miss that place. There may be another place
is better than Misty Mountain but they do not choose those place. The only thing
they want to do is come back home. Treasure is a part of their home by the
way.


Bilbo always wants to back to his hobbit hole, his cute
comfortable home of peace. How many times does Bilbo say he want to go back?
Even if he is not in danger, he still thinks about going home. Treasure and
honour are not important as his home. He may say the valley where elves live is
the most beautiful place he ever live, but I believe he will never say that is
his favorite place. He won’t say that. What he like is his hobbit hole. It may a
little bit small, It may not as pretty as the valley, but that is his home! The
safest place in the world
